A guest to our school

A few weeks ago a lady who works for the National Dogs Trust came into talk about how to take care of dogs, how to be careful around strange dogs and she told us about how some dogs get taken into care. It was very interesting to hear these stories and about her job. We all took a picture together and got Dogs Trust stickers and bracelets.

St Brigid's Day

On the 1st of February everyone in 4th class made St. Brigid's Day crosses. A special word of thanks to everyone who helped out. We had great fun! It is always a very special day in our school.

On the 2nd of February we had a prayer service in the Hall as part of Catholic Schools Week 2017. Parents and grandparents were invited too. Fr. Seán blessed our St. Brigid's crosses during the service.

10 @ 10

Like thousands of other pupils around the country, we did the ten at ten last Friday. We did ten sets of exercises as a whole school. All classes from infants to sixth class took part. It was a chilly morning so we kept moving and were glad of our leaders who did a great job of leading the school. Lots more pictures and clips of sports in Scoil Chlann Naofa to follow. This is just a little of how we got on.

10@10

We are going to do the 10@10 in Scoil Chlann Naofa on February the 10th! We are a very active school, taking part in sports activities such as swimming, athletics, hurling and yoga this term. This is a very important part of our school life and we hope to upload some clips soon of all that is happening in our increasingly healthy and active school.
